Revive Flowers - Individual Vases

Whenever I get a bunch of flowers, some always die faster than others, and i either end up throwing the whole lot out or waiting until they're all dead, which can get super ugly!

So I thought it'd be super smart to just cut off the still fresh buds and put them in individual vases! 

Tah-dah!

I love the idea of re-igniting the bouquet and who doesn't love little cute single buds!

The vases are super adorable too! The clear ones are from those Italian drinks like pear and peach nectar that they sell in Italian shops like Piedemontes! And the amber vases are old Blackmores vitamin bottles!

Favourite Pins Friday!

1. I love Mexican food at the best of times, but when all ingredients are chopped up and separated into little bowls (I think I might have an obsession with little bowls!), everything is just so cute and the colours are amazing! YUM!

2. Ahh Bora Bora! Numero Two of best honeymoon destination in my humble opinion! Number one being the Maldives! 

3. Not sure if it's real or photoshopped, but either way, the colours in this are amazing!! Imagine 

seeing a sunset like that!!

7. Oh my word! As you know, I am a HUGE cheese fanatic! And this table, just absolutely takes the cake.....cheese?? I could happily eat this entire table all by myself, you think I'm kidding, I'm seriously not! And the blackboard! Love it! Perfect perfect table in my eyes!

Layered Lemon Cake with Marshmallow Icing

I made this amazing cake this week! Have to admit it took quite a while, but the things that took the most time was the waiting for the cakes to cook and cool! 

I used this recipe, it's very specific, which I loved! 

The cakes been such a hit in my household, and each component in itself is so so yummy! And then put all together is super yum but not overly rich! 

It was surprisingly easy to make, you'll just need to put some time aside, however you can make it over a few days! 

Let me know if you make one too! I'd love to see your versions! 

Real Techniques brushes available at Priceline!!

No idea how I missed this memo, but Real Techniques brushes are finally available at accessible stores in Australia! RE: Priceline!!

I got myself a Stipling brush (the pink flat top in the middle) a few weeks ago online from the US, but now they're available at priceline I think I'll super stock up!

If you haven't heard of Real Techniques brushes or Samantha Chapman...You are welcome!

Samantha is a makeup artist on Youtube who does videos with her sister Nic, they're crazy amazing at what they do, and just know everything!

As for the brushes, from the one that I've tried along with all the reviews I've heard, they're amazing!

So crazy soft, bristles don't shed, and make your application flawless!

Did I mention they're seriously reasonably priced compared to the likes of MAC brushes?

Can't wait to get my hands on some more!

Shoe Storage Solutions?

I would love for my shoe collection to resemble ANY one of these photos, but at the moment, there are seriously shoes strewn everywhere across my room, and on average, it will take me at least five mins to find the correct matching pair!

So, this madness must stop! As my collection is ever expanding, I need to find a way to store my shoes that takes up the least amount of room possible, looks presentable and is easy to keep tidy!

I have seriously limited closet space, and I've tried lining my shoes up against the wall, but I just don't like it all that much! I'm thinking of getting a basket like in the bottom left photo, and I figure that will work, but I'd love to know....

How do you store your shoes???
